Outstanding Product - AGM Products Brake Pressure Bleeder

I felt strongly enough to write a review of the AGM products Brake Pressure Bleeder and Brake Reservoir Cap - Universal Adapter. I am very familiar with the traditional method of bleeding brakes through pumping of the brake pedal and opening the bleeder screw. This was always a 2-person job but no more. I used this kit of items on my 2009 C6 Corvette and it worked flawlessly. I did not fill the canister with brake fluid, rather I wanted to fill the brake fluid manually after performing two brakes lines at a time. The universal cap adapter securely fit on the brake fluid holding tank securely allowing the positive air pressure from escaping. Follow the directions and use no more than 12-15 psi in the tank and ensure no leaking through the rubber cap on the tank. Additionally, when using the cap adapter, ensure you route the chain around any brake lines or wires, this is an extremely important step. I hope this gives any car enthusiast the confidence to perform the brake bleeding method by themself in a safe and easy way. This is a wonderful product. And yes, I am an actual customer of this product and very happy with the decision to purchase!

Does NOT work on 2015 JKU

First off, the quick coupler I received would not fit on the cap fitting. I had to remove that fitting and use another coupler that worked. I don't know if it was broke inside or what, but it would not lock down. After fixing that, applying 12-15 PSI to the bottle with 2L of fluid in it, the fluid would fill the reservoir, but it would only generate enough pressure to push a very very small amount of fluid out of the calipers. When I say a 'little' fluid, I mean barely enough to even trickle in the hose. After a few seconds, then even that stops all together. Same results on any caliper I tried. So far, this was a complete waste of time/money and had to fall back to manual methods of brake pumping.

Nice, but Remember to Pressure Check

Nice to get my first AGM pressure brake bleeding use done.
Instructions make it clear to adjust air pressure to the tank and to check for possible air leaks prior to use. If it leaks air, it will leak brake fluids. So to help others to have the best experience I suggest on your first use to include leak testing each new reservoir pressure cap used and their NPT threaded fittings prior to your first brake fluid transfers. At 12 psi a loose unsealed NPT threaded fitting on a reservoir cap will leak a lot brake fluid while bleeding each wheel cylinder. Another note is to take time to loosen each bleed screw to see if they are not blocked (the brake bleeding job goes much smoother).

Earl, thank you for your review of the AGM Brake Pressure Bleeder and the detailed instructions aimed at helping other customers. Great advice!
