Before welding, set the vehicle at its normal ride height and position the Jack Point so the front face is vertical.

The sides of the Jack Point should also be perpendicular to the ground. Correct positioning helps the jack engage naturally and keeps the connection properly aligned during lifting.

What is required for installation?

Weld-On Jack Points should be installed by an experienced welder or fabricator familiar with vehicle chassis and suspension components.

Bolt-On Jack Points require drilling the mounting component and installing rivnuts before bolting the Jack Point into place. A drill bit and rivnut installation tool are not included.

Can Weld-On Jack Points be shaped to fit the vehicle?

Yes. Each Weld-On Jack Point includes additional material on the back so it can be contoured to the mounting surface.

Insert the Jack Point into the jack and mark the material extending beyond the jack face. Leave an additional 1/8 to 1/4 in. beyond that mark for the weld bead.

Do Bolt-On Jack Points require welding?

No. Bolt-On Jack Points create a dedicated mechanical lift point without welding to the vehicle.

How many Jack Points should I install?

That depends on the number of dedicated lifting locations you want. Many customers install one at each corner of their vehicle. Weld-On Jack Points are available individually or in four-packs.

Better than I expected

I have used the manual jack for a year and thought the hook worked fine but I was always worried about the jack slipping out in the soil. These take that concern away. Additionally, having the fixed mounting point keeps the jack from angling which can trap the impact driver against the vehicle. Do not hesitate to get these.

Model Specific

I have no issues with the product. I understand it’s universal. I think it’d be good to offer model specific versions that mate better to the sxs control arms. The flat version leaves a major gap to fill in on the front control arms of my rzr turbo r in order to get it level and plumb.

David, thank you for the feedback and our apologies as it sounds like we did not make you aware that there is extra material on the backside of the Weld-on Jack points. That extra material is there so that you (or your fabricator) can better contour the back of the Weld-on Jack point to the shape of the suspension or chassis componets it is being welded to.
