We purchased a manual AGM Jack and two panel mounts. I mounted the panel mounts on the rear of the trunk on our new Maverick R and it is just superb. The panel mounts are just great and actually very well built. My wife made a little cover for the gear end. We have put over 200 miles on the unit and the Jack has not moved.
A great kit. Type of thing you may not want to need, great to have if you or your buddies need first aid out on the trails.
First of all, I liked the packaging and protection it came with. The Scissor Jack has a very nice finish. The colors, the grip on the ground, and the carrying rope are all great. The only thing I didn't like is that the nut to raise or lower it—from the first time I used it for a test run—started to peel off and rain like lemon zest. I wouldn't want it to be completely washed away, especially in an emergency when I need to use it, and there's no replacement guarantee.
Oscar, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for the photos. We're happy to hear that you are satisfied with the fit and finish of The Scissor Jack. As for your experience with the coating on the Hex, the Scissor Jack should only be used with a Drill. We do not recommend using an Impact gun on this particular product (the shock loads of the Impact can affect the coating as well as longevity of the product).
This is a great jack for lifted vehicles or vehicles with bigger tires I like that it has a setting for the pinchweld and one for tube sliders it's definitely built better than the factory jack that comes with most suv's
