We build tools that operate in the toughest environments on Earth - for people who expect the best and refuse to settle for less.

And if for any reason you don’t love your gear, we’ll make it right. Here’s how.

We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked return window from the date your order is delivered. Whether you ordered the wrong item, changed your mind, or just decided it's not the right fit - we've got you covered.

After 30 days? That's where our Lifetime Shield Guarantee takes over (more on that below).

30-Day Returns

You can return your item within 30 days of delivery for a refund if:

  • It's unused
  • It's in new, resalable condition
  • It's complete
  • You provide proof of purchase
    • RMA number required (see below)

Open box is fine.
Test fitting in your garage is fine.

Using it on the trail for a few months, scratching it up, and sending it back dusty? Not fine (unless there's a defect - then we absolutely take care of you).

AGM reserves the right to determine product condition upon inspection.

After 30 Days - Lifetime Shield Guarantee

Once your 30-day return window closes, your product is protected by our Lifetime Shield Guarantee.

Lifetime Shield covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.

This includes:

  • Major components
  • Seals and gaskets
  • Electrical systems
  • Structural integrity

Verified warranty claims include:

  • Repair or replacement (at AGM's discretion)
  • Free shipping on approved warranty claims

Lifetime Shield does not provide refunds beyond 30 days - it provides repair or replacement support.

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear is not covered.


Store Credit

Products outside the 30-day return window may qualify for store credit if:

  • The product is unused and in new, resalable condition
  • The product is a current, non-obsolete version still offered by AGM
  • The product is returned within 12 months of the original purchase date

Store credit:

  • Is issued at AGM's discretion
  • Is valid for 12 months from issue date
  • Can be used toward any AGM product

Exchanges

We do offer exchanges - but here's how we handle them to keep things fast and clean:

Instead of a traditional item swap, we process exchanges as:

  1. Your original order is refunded (minus outbound shipping unless the issue was our fault)
  2. You place a new order for the product you want

Why?
Because it avoids accounting delays, inventory holds, and month-spanning paperwork headaches - which means your new gear gets to you faster.

If you're upgrading, you'll simply pay the difference when placing the new order.

Shipping costs for returning the original item are the customer's responsibility unless:

  • We sent the wrong item
  • There's a verified defect in materials or workmanship

Return Authorization Required (RMA)

Before sending anything back, please contact us to request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

Your RMA number (simply "RMA" + your order number) must be clearly marked on your package. We also ask that you include a note in the package with your contact information and the reason for your return. 

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

(And honestly — by calling us first we may be able to solve the issue without you needing to ship anything back.)

Return Conditions & Packaging

To qualify for a full refund:

  • Item must be returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Item must be in new, resalable condition
  • Original packaging is strongly recommended

If returned without original packaging, a restocking fee may apply.

If the product shows visible wear (scratches, dirt, install marks, use damage):

  • If repairable → a restocking fee equal to the cost of repair will be deducted
  • If not repairable → return may be refused

Refunds are only issued after the product is received and inspected.

Shipping Responsibility

If the return is due to:

  • A defect in materials or workmanship
  • An error on our end (wrong item shipped)

Then AGM will cover return shipping costs.

For all other returns (change of mind, wrong item ordered, etc.):

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable

Customers are responsible for items until they arrive safely at our facility.

International customers are responsible for all return shipping and duties unless the return is due to a verified defect or AGM error.

Final Sale Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Clearance items
  • Final sale items
  • Gift cards

All sales on these items are final.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 1–2 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Gift card purchases are refunded as store credit

Depending on your financial institution, funds typically appear within 7–10 business days.

Excessive Returns

We love taking care of customers. We don't love abuse of the system.

AGM reserves the right to refuse returns from customers exhibiting excessive or abusive return behavior.

 


Returns & Exchanges FAQ

1. How long do I have to return my AGM product?

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to return it for a refund.

After 30 days, your product is covered under our Lifetime Shield Warranty for repair or replacement.


2. Do I have to pay for return shipping?

If the return is due to a defect in materials or workmanship, or we made an error, we cover return shipping.

If you changed your mind or ordered the wrong item, return shipping is your responsibility.


3. Can I test fit the product before deciding?

Yes. Garage test fitting is fine.

As long as the product is returned in new, resalable condition without visible signs of wear, you're covered under our 30-day return policy.


4. How do exchanges work?

We process exchanges as a refund on your original order (minus outbound shipping unless it was our fault), and you place a new order for the item you'd like instead.

This keeps things fast and avoids delays.


5. What happens if I return something without contacting AGM first?

All returns require an RMA number before shipment.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused. Contacting us first often helps solve the issue without needing to return the product.


6. What if my product fails after 30 days?

That's where Lifetime Shield steps in.

If there's a defect in materials or workmanship, we repair or replace the product at our discretion — and we cover shipping on verified claims.


7. When will I receive my refund?

Once your item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 1–2 business days. Most banks post funds within 7–10 business days.
