Description

UTV CV's removal does not have to be the awkward fight we all dread. Our UTV axle shafts jaws make quick work of CV removal with our purpose built strike plate. Now you can securely clamp your axles or CV in place to free your hands for prep work. All while knowing the jaws will not mar or damage the surface of your parts like the vise alone does.

F.A.Q.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Remove the clips of the CV boot on the affected axle and slide the boot towards the center of the axle. Wipe away any excess grease. Place the Axle shaft jaws around the axle with the black slide hammer end of the jaw set pointing towards the affected CV joint. Place the entire assembly in a vice, with the back of the jaw set placed against the edge of the vice and tighten until the axle can just slide freely within the jaw set. Now use the axle itself as a slide hammer and strike the affected CV against the black slide hammer end of the jaw set. NOTE: make sure to have something to catch the CV joint when it pops off.

WHAT SIZE AXLES WILL FIT IN THE JAW SET
The AGM Axle shaft jaws are able to clamp axles from 21mm to 26mm in diameter. This includes most axles from the front axle on a 900cc unit to the rear axles of a Turbo unit.

WHAT ARE THE HOLES IN THE TOP OF THE JAW SET FOR?
The holes in the top of the jaw set are used to hold the CV joint you are working on after you have removed it from the axle. Once removed you can use the jaw set to clamp the splined portion of the CV joint. Freeing both of your hands to service the cv joint.

Great Product!

Working on UTV axles can be messy and annoying. The AGM axle jaws make life a lot easier. It helps securely clamp the axle in the vise without tearing up the axle shaft. They will pay for them self’s with the first few uses. Shipping a customer service were top notch.
