Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the AGM Manual Jack PRO cost more than a stock jack?

Because it is not built for the same job.

Stock jacks are usually designed for occasional use in ideal conditions. The AGM Manual Jack PRO is built for racers, chase crews, serious off-roaders, and demanding commercial or industrial users who need fast, compact lifting when conditions are less than ideal.

You are getting a 3,000 lb capacity, ultra-fast 4.95 in/sec lift speed, 17 inches of external height adjustment, 14 inches of lift travel, GroundLoc, VersaLift, ToughThred, and a serviceable design built for long-term use.

You also get Lifetime Shield coverage, real AGM support after the sale, and free how-to videos and tutorials to help you use the product with more confidence.

What vehicles is the Manual Jack PRO designed for?

The AGM Manual Jack PRO is designed for off-road race vehicles, UTVs, SXSs, buggies, chase vehicles, and other custom applications with appropriate lift points.

It is widely used in Baja racing, Ultra4 racing, trail support, and demanding field-service environments.

Always confirm that your vehicle weight, lift point, and setup are appropriate before lifting.

How is the Manual Jack PRO different from the Manual Jack Sport?

The Manual Jack Sport brings key PRO-style features into a more affordable trail jack for UTVs, SXSs, buggies, and smaller off-road vehicles.

The Manual Jack PRO is the flagship version. It is lighter, faster, rated to 3,000 lb, and built for racers, chase crews, and demanding applications where speed, portability, and lift-point control matter most.

How is the Manual Jack PRO different from the Scissor Jack?

The Scissor Jack is a compact, lightweight option for many UTV and SXS owners.

The Manual Jack PRO is faster, lighter, and built around a vertical jack body with quick height adjustment, a 90-degree drive, and VersaLift modular lift-point options. It is the better choice for racing, chase crews, custom vehicles, and more demanding use.

How much weight can the Manual Jack PRO lift?

The AGM Manual Jack PRO has a 3,000 lb capacity.

That does not mean it is intended to lift an entire 3,000 lb vehicle at once. When changing a tire or making a repair, you are typically lifting one portion of the vehicle from a proper lift point.

How fast does the Manual Jack PRO lift?

The AGM Manual Jack PRO lifts at approximately 4.95 inches per second.

That speed is one of the reasons it is popular with Baja racers, Ultra4 teams, chase crews, and users who need to make repairs quickly and get moving again.

How much height adjustment does it have?

The Manual Jack PRO has 14 inches of lift travel and 17 inches of external height adjustment.

That combination gives you more range when dealing with suspension droop, larger tires, custom chassis setups, or lift points that are harder to reach.

Can I use a drill with the Manual Jack PRO?

No. The Manual Jack PRO should be used with a high-torque impact wrench only.

Drills and impact drivers do not provide enough torque to operate the Manual Jack PRO while lifting a vehicle.

Can I use an impact driver with the Manual Jack PRO?

No. Impact drivers are not recommended for the Manual Jack PRO.

Use a high-torque impact wrench only. Impact drivers and drills do not provide enough torque to operate the jack while lifting a vehicle.

Can I use the Manual Jack PRO to change a tire?

Yes. When used with the correct lift point and proper setup, the Manual Jack PRO can be used for tire changes, race repairs, trail-side repairs, field service, trailer prep, and garage work.

Always confirm that your lift point, ground conditions, and vehicle setup are appropriate before lifting.

What is the difference between the two Manual Jack PRO variants?

The AGM-EJA-2011 version includes the Manual Jack PRO and a 4-pack of weld-on jack points.

The AGM-EJA-2011-2 version includes the Manual Jack PRO with the standard lifting hook.

The weld-on jack point version is ideal when you want a dedicated mechanical connection between the jack and your vehicle or application. The standard hook version is better for more general lift-point use.

What do the weld-on jack points do?

AGM Weld-On Jack Points give the Manual Jack PRO a dedicated place to engage the vehicle or application.

When installed properly, they create a mechanical connection that helps keep the jack engaged during operation. This is especially useful for race cars, custom chassis, commercial equipment, and repeat-use applications.

What is GroundLoc?

GroundLoc is AGM’s patented concave base design.

It helps reduce sinking and sliding by compressing loose terrain, giving the Manual Jack PRO a more planted lifting platform on dirt, sand, gravel, mud, and uneven ground.

What is VersaLift?

VersaLift is AGM’s modular lifting system.

It allows the Manual Jack PRO to work with different lift heads, jack points, hooks, and custom mounting solutions so the jack can adapt to different vehicles, chassis designs, and applications.

What is ToughThred?

ToughThred is AGM’s ACME screw technology, designed for fast power transfer, mechanical strength, and long-term durability.

Unlike hydraulic jacks, there are no seals to leak or fluid systems to fail.

Is it serviceable?

Yes. The Manual Jack PRO is built to be maintained instead of treated as disposable equipment.

Proper inspection, cleaning, and lubrication help extend product life and keep the jack operating smoothly.

Do I still need jack stands?

Yes. Anytime you are working under a vehicle, use appropriate support equipment.

A jack is designed to lift. It should not be treated as the only support when working underneath a vehicle.

Is the Manual Jack PRO safe to use off-road?

The Manual Jack PRO is designed to give racers, chase crews, and serious off-road users a faster, more controlled lifting option, but every jack requires proper setup and safe use.

Always lift from a suitable lift point, keep the base stable, avoid side-loading the jack, keep the jack as vertical as possible, and never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack.

What kind of support does AGM provide after the sale?

You get support from real people who understand the products and the industries they are built for.

If you have questions about setup, compatibility, lift points, maintenance, replacement parts, or product use, AGM is here to help.

What if I buy it and realize it is not the right fit?

Reach out to AGM.

We can help confirm whether the Manual Jack PRO is the right tool for your vehicle and use case, or point you toward a better option if another AGM jack is a better fit.

AGM Jack & Diego Are the Real Deal

First time using my AGM jack, I made the rookie mistake of overextending it. Totally my fault, but when I reached out, Diego didn’t hesitate to help me out and get me taken care of. The level of service blew me away — no hassle, no runaround, just straight-up support.

The jack itself is top quality — heavy-duty, smooth, and clearly built for serious use. But what makes AGM stand out even more is the way they stand behind their product and treat their customers. Diego went above and beyond, and that kind of customer service is rare these days.

If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Between the craftsmanship of the jack and the people behind it, AGM is the way to go.

Definitely a budget jack

Jack was delivered unsafe to use. With some adjusting and playing with it I think it will function but it’s a very poor design. I was emailed with a congratulations on your new Jack from Brian saying if I had problems just reply- I did - it was a no reply email. So I emailed sales- no reply. Guess after purchase it’s on you. Wish I had gone a different direction but need it now for a trip

Jim, thank you for messagin us here. We searched all folders and were not able to find any email from your email address to better understand your situation. But we still want to hear why you feel the way you do about the Manual Jack Sport. So, we called and left you a voicemail. We also sent you an email, if that is easier for you to respond to. (This review is NOT for a Manual Jack PRO)

AGM Manual Jack Review

I’ve been using the Milwaukee battery-powered electric jack on my 4900 class RZR for two years with zero issues, and it has been a reliable tool in my race program. Recently, I picked up the AGM Manual Jack for my new 4400 IFS car, and I’m excited to see how it performs in the most strenuous race conditions.

Right out of the box, the build quality of the AGM Jack stands out—top-tier craftsmanship, built tough, and designed for the abuse of off-road racing. The AGM Race Mount Kit allows for a clean and secure mounting solution on the vehicle, keeping everything neat and easily accessible.

Based on my experience with AGM products, I have high expectations for this jack in both durability and performance. I’ll be putting it to the test in upcoming races, but so far, it’s clear that AGM delivers top-of-the-line equipment that meets the demands of off-road racing.

No more worrying

I did a trial run changing the tire out in the middle of the desert. The guy with us had another brand onboard and when we were through (5 minutes) he said that he would have just had the jack off of his rig by the time we were driving away. Yes it is that good. Do NOT buy the knock off made from garbage that will break in a few weeks. Spend the money and get this jack. Oh and the Savage storage bag too. It is the perfect combo and storage solution.

Thank you, LITIG8X Racing, for taking the time to leave this awesome review! We’re stoked to hear that your AGM Manual Jack - PRO performed flawlessly in the desert and got you back on the trail in record time. A real-world test run is the best way to get familiar with your gear, and we appreciate you putting it through its paces!

Also, great call on the Savage Revolve Case - it really does make the perfect storage solution. Thanks for the recommendation and for choosing quality over compromise. See you out on the trail!

Just what I needed.

Went to Sandsport and was looking for a jack that would fit my needs. Saw this before on IG and told my wife about it. We found their booth and was sold on it especially after talking with Navid. I appreciate his quick response to my needs on the quick clamps (I originally got the wrong size and he is sending me the correct ones-no fuss). These guys/gals are top notch in my book.

Misleading

When I bought the Jack the description did not include that it comes with the universal hook. So, I bought the hook as an add on, only to find out it comes with one.

Lee, sorry to hear you had issues on the website. We will ask if it is possible to make the 'choose your lifting option' buttons (which allows you to choose the hook or 4 pack of weld on Jack Points), located just above the 'add to cart' buttons on the product page, larger than it currently is. To make it easier to see.

If you would like to return the hook you ordered, we are happy to credit the purchase price back to the card you ordered with.

AGM Manual Jack

Purchased last year and thankfully hadn't had the opportunity to use until last evening down in the Ride Royal Blue area. Undoubtedly had a rock cut the sidewall of left front tire. Took the jack out of the mount, used Milwaukee Impact driver for jack and lugs, removed flat and installed spare. So easy and quick. Also performed switch in peanut butter mud. Most difficult part was getting everything out and putting away. Many criticized my expenditure and offered up much more economical alternatives, but considering the conditions in the rain, with darkness looming, definitely best $$ spent for my machines

AGM manual jack 2.0

I received my AGM manual 2.0 jack and was very impressed by the build and finish. Was curious if it was going to lift one side of my side by side up off the ground so I could rotate my tires and it had no problem doing that. Just needed to get a couple jack stands for safety. I highly recommend this Jack. And the mounts work awesome. Excellent customer service as well. I had sent a couple messages through email to them and they responded immediately. I was shocked!! Nothing but positive things to say about AGM.

Fast and Easy in Get’n Wheels off the Ground

Got an array of other jacks onboard that get the job done, including AGM’s kit for my farm jack to shave off weight and a 2.5 ton hydraulic jack.

But on a SxS, EVERY ounce matters and this jack is a fraction of the weight of either of those other jacks and is FAST.

If there’s even a hint that a wheel bearing is going out, I can just roll out of the SxS, grab this jack and the cordless impact, and have the car off the ground in a minute or less.

It’s EXPENSIVE, but if having a fast and easy jacking system HANDY gets me to check the wheel bearings BEFORE they disintegrate and take out knuckles, hubs, or axles, then it’ll pay for itself on the first ride it gets used on.

This new Manual Jack is very light, fast, and versatile, because it has a hook as well as weld on jack points around the chassis. The base has a lot of movement, Im able to get the jack planted nicely.

h
hadar

can i use it for 4x4 like Mitsubishi Pajero/montero?
It seem half its weight is in the manual jack capacity limits

AGMProducts

Hadar, Thank you for the interest in our products. After a quick search it looks like a Pajero or Montero can range in weight from 4200lbs (1905kg) to 5900lbs (2676kg). Although many racers with vehicles equal to the low end of this range user the Manual Jack every day. The high end of this range is beyond the recommened capacity of the Manual Jack. Without your vehicle's exact weight it is difficult to give an honest recommendation.

The second point I must share is the Jack has 14 inches (35.56cm) of travel. If your vehicle requires more than this to lift a wheel off the ground then the Manual Jack would not be the right fit for your vehicle.

The best suggestion we can give is to check both of the points mentioned above and if your vehicles falls within specification, than you know it will work well for you.

If after reading this you have more questions, please feel free to email us at- sales@agm-products.com
