Being prepared on the trail can mean the difference between a great ride and a not so great ride. With a little time and a little research, there are a lot of tools that will help the day go well. Most of these essentials will probably never get used, but when they do, you will realize that you shouldn't go off-roading without them. Matt from Savage UTV is a Baja and UTV vet that has more miles under his belt that most of us combined. These are his 8 must have trail essentials that he doesn't go off-roading without. Jack mount bent when mounting it in place. If you don’t crank it down its loose and if you do crank it down base starts bending. Also the strap is already showing signs of fraying. The jack is amazing but I think these guys need to go back to the drawing board with this mount.
Shane, thank you for sharing your experience. This is super important for us to see as we did not experience what you are talking about during development. We will look at different materials as well as methods for improving grip to reduce torque required on the bolts. We'd like to work with you to solve this, please check your email for more details.
Used the mount to mount the scissor jack to my trailers tongue. Will be purchasing a second mount to quickly move the jack to my UTV. I, like others, am also worried the blue strap is thin and not as heavy duty and may wear through in time but that is easily enough remedied.
AWESOME, AFFORDABLE, AND EFFECTIVE
Jack is absolutely perfect, whether using for off-road or for day to day in my truck I have bought this jack for all 3 of my vehicles. Highly recommend.
Stoked to hear your AGM Scissor Jack is pulling triple duty. We appreciate the recommendation and glad you’ve got a reliable jack for every vehicle.
The quality of the jack is top notch lift’s my general, with no problem using the rock sliders as a lift point .
Highly recommended
Thanks you so much for the awesome feedback! We’re stoked to hear your Manual Jack Sport is lifting your General with ease and working smoothly off the rock sliders—that ease is exactly what it’s built for. Appreciate the recommendation and can’t wait to see where it helps you out on the trails!
